You can view their new web page here Thursday 31st July 2008 Pub Chain Mitchells & Butlers plc is to acquire 44 pub restaurants from Whitbread PLC in exchange for 21 Express Holiday Inn Lodges. The transaction is expected to complete on 19 September 2008. Mitchells & Butlers plc aquistition of the Whitbread pubs currently trading under the Brewers Fayre and Beefeater brands and will be converted to their own brands of restaurant/pub. NO MORE SubSONIC SHOWS @ The Frog & Frigate FOR A NUMBER OF REASONS INCLUDING RECENT LAST MINUTE CANCELLATIONS BY BANDS AND DWINDLING ATTENDANCE, SubSONIC WILL NO LONGER BE PUTTING ON BAND NIGHTS AT THE FROG & FRIGATE EVERY MONDAY. SubSONIC will possibly consider putting on occassional shows, but for the forseeable future SubSONIC is having a rest! They have put on many great bands over the years, but like all good things, it has come to an end. Tuesday 1st April 2008 The Pub management company "The Laurel Pub Company" who owned the pub brands Yates and Slug and Lettuce has gone into administration.
