Picture Gallery Here				A local family run pub for the Shirley Community. We now have one large bar after an extensive refurbishment. We have a great Karaoke evening on every Friday evening from about 8.00pm. We have two large Plasma screens and two pool tables. There is a children's area in the Garden. We have an lunch and evening menus and a great selection of wines and spirits including 15 different whiskeys and 12 wines (sold by the glass or bottle) Real Ale available on draught and in bottles.

Food is served from 12.00 noon until 2.30pm and 4.30pm until 8.00pm Monday to Saturday Sunday Lunch is available from 1.00pm until 5.00pm Mon - Weds from 2pm 'til 7pm FREE pool and all draught beers are £2.30 a pint! We now have an area dedicated to children in the Garden with a Huge Bouncy Castle and other games for kids.

Entertainments

We have two pool tables, a darts board, and crib boards. We also have pool teams meeting Tuesdays and Thursdays. We support a Shield & Dagger football team, playing at the sports centre on weekend mornings. Poker Nights every Wednesday and Sunday from 8pm. We have seven TV's around the bars including two large 52" plasma screens. England and international matches are always well supported.

There is a card table, chess boards, Football table and Wii available to play. There are also two cash paying gaming machines. We have Karaoke every Friday Night, Regular Curry Nights and occasional Live Music on Saturday Nights.
There are a number of fish tanks around the pub which house the owners tropical fish, including rare cichlids. These aquarium fish give an interesting and ever changing backdrop to the room. There is a full breeding programme for these fish.

This beer garden which backs onto the rear of the pub has shrub boarders and has plenty of seating and tables for up to sixty people. Children are welcome here and on a warm summer evening its a great place to relax with some food and a pint!

Our beer garden has won awards for the best improved beer garden (2003) and has been mentioned in the Echo for Gardens in bloom.

	We have now got a handy outside bar and covered smoking area. There is also a large area set aside in the garden for children with an inflatable Bouncy Castle and other games.
